During the course development, we will work in this institutional platform where you will find the guide and learning activities, based on the English program, and developed for the achievement of the course objectives.

In this course, you will work to understand and address the topics of English 4, you will use excellent tools to support your learning. It will foster the development of communicative competence in the language that allows students to communicate orally and in writing in English at a basic user level through a more active and spontaneous interaction in areas of major relevance to their environment; events and experiences of the recent past, indefinite and habitual; description of people, places and things; polite questioning; and future plans using a set of simple phrases and sentences. At this level, the student requires the teacher’s support in specific activities in order to continue developing autonomous learning strategies in a gradual manner. The course modality is mixed and requires hours of independent work by the student both in the Self-Access Center (SAC) and virtually in other spaces. The teaching, learning and evaluation of the course considers diverse and varied training strategies, as well as the generation of performance evidences. It is intended that students who pass this course reach a level of proficiency equivalent to A2.1 or A2+ according to the CEFR.

You will express and exchange information on everyday topics. You will also be supported by the teacher who will be checking your autonomous work and clarifying your doubts.
